About me

Dr. Utkarsh Khurana holds a PhD in Psychology and has been practising as a psychologist and therapist since 2020. He works with adults and young adults through individual, couples, and family therapy, supporting concerns such as relationships, attachment, grief and loss, anxiety, loneliness, self-worth, emotional regulation, identity, and difficult life transitions.

His therapeutic approach is primarily Existential–Humanistic, with a focus on authenticity, emotional awareness, personal meaning, choice, and the healing potential of a genuine therapeutic relationship. His work is relational and experiential, helping clients understand not only what they are experiencing but also how they relate to themselves and others.

Alongside his therapeutic practice, Dr. Utkarsh is involved in training, supervision, and group facilitation. He also creates reflective learning spaces for psychology students and early-career therapists, contributing to their professional and personal development.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
