About me
Akshita Verma is a Counselling Psychologist and PhD Scholar with over 3 years of experience in mental health research, psychological interventions, and mental health education. Her experience includes working with NIMHANS across various mental health and addiction-related projects.
Akshita offers a warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences openly. Her approach is primarily person-centred, with therapy tailored to each individual's needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all model.
She works with concerns including anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, motivation, substance use, and difficult decisions. She sees therapy as a space where clients do not need to have everything figured out before they begin.
Through therapy, Akshita works collaboratively with clients to slow things down, understand what lies beneath their experiences, recognise patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and develop greater clarity, self-awareness, and meaningful change.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions
Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist
Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.
Cancellation policy
You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.
Late to session policy
If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.
Cancelling part of a bundled session
For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
