About me
I’m Anwesha Bhattacharya, an RCI-registered Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist based in Kolkata, India. I bring experience from my work at Iris Hospital and my private practice, where I engage with diverse individuals and couples in therapeutic settings. With three degrees in Psychology and extensive clinical training, my approach is integrative and client-centred. I believe that therapy is not about quick solutions but about understanding the self, relationships, and emotional patterns that shape our lives. My practice is grounded in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and respect for the unique experiences each person carries. I work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and adjustment challenges, and also support neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients. I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore, reflect, and build emotional awareness at their own pace. For me, therapy is a collaborative journey—one that nurtures resilience, connection, and the possibility of meaningful change.

Key Therapeutic Approaches I use
Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions
Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist
Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.
Cancellation policy
You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.
Late to session policy
If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.
Cancelling part of a bundled session
For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
