About me

I’m Hanisha Tolani - a queer and neurodivergence affirmative psychotherapist who believes healing happens in spaces that feel safe, thoughtful, and genuinely yours. To me, our mind is like a mirror; when it’s clouded, it’s hard to see ourselves clearly. My approach is process-oriented, empathetic, and mindful; where insights seep into your life with integration more than a voila! moment. Thereby, helping you clear the fog and gently reconnect with your inner voice.

While I primarily draw from CBT, DBT, and humanistic approaches such as IFS and Narrative Therapy, I use a trauma-informed lens to tailor my therapeutic approach to each client’s needs. Therapy with me is like finding your own quiet flame to light the way through life’s messy, beautiful chapters. Expect deep conversations, metaphors, a touch of humour, and maybe a space fact or two.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
