About me

Kateni Katy Rajina is a Mental Health Practitioner who provides counselling and psychological support to children, young people, individuals, couples, and families. She offers a space for clients to pause, reflect, better understand their experiences, and explore meaningful ways of moving forward.

Her approach is grounded in humanistic therapy, recognising each person as more than the difficulties they may be experiencing. She values clients’ unique experiences, strengths, perspectives, and capacity for growth, while placing importance on feeling heard, understood, and accepted within the therapeutic relationship.

Kateni’s practice is also trauma-informed, with an emphasis on creating a space that feels safe, respectful, collaborative, and non-judgmental. She values choice and autonomy, adapting the therapeutic process to each client’s needs, boundaries, and pace.

She works collaboratively with clients to make sense of their experiences, build greater self-understanding, and navigate challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
