About me

Pooja Gupta is a Clinical Psychologist who offers a thoughtful and supportive space for individuals to explore their experiences at their own pace. She believes therapy doesn't need to be rushed and focuses on helping clients make sense of their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without feeling pressured to have all the answers.

Her approach draws from Schema Therapy and cognitive-based interventions, helping clients recognise recurring patterns that influence how they think, feel, and relate to themselves and others. She is particularly attentive to helping clients untangle overwhelming or scattered thoughts, gain clarity, and understand the deeper factors contributing to their present difficulties.

Pooja works with individuals experiencing anxiety, mood difficulties, and long-standing emotional and interpersonal patterns. Her approach is structured yet flexible, often beginning with addressing immediate concerns and improving day-to-day functioning before gradually exploring deeper emotional experiences and underlying patterns.

She uses relatable examples and metaphors to make complex psychological concepts easier to understand, helping clients develop greater awareness and insight. Through patience, collaboration, and regular check-ins, Pooja supports clients in making meaningful connections between their present struggles and past experiences, working towards lasting change.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
