About me

Rohit Ramachandran is a coach, counsellor, therapist, and life skills trainer with 8 years of experience supporting individuals through emotional, behavioural, and interpersonal challenges. His approach focuses on helping clients understand and work through internal conflicts, particularly when competing thoughts, emotions, or needs create a sense of ambivalence or difficulty in moving forward.

Rohit uses a collaborative and reflective approach to help clients identify their preferred future and move towards their goals with greater self-compassion, rather than relying on self-criticism or pressure. He also incorporates Socratic questioning to help clients examine the validity of their perceptions, challenge unhelpful demands they place on themselves, and develop a more balanced and grounded perspective.

His areas of focus include building hope, emotional regulation, procrastination, anxiety, interpersonal conflicts, impulse control, intrusive memories, meaning and purpose, self-acceptance, and greater self-awareness. Rohit aims to help clients navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, psychological flexibility, and compassion while remaining grounded in reality.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
