About me

Suparna Arora is a counselling psychologist trained at Parivarthan, Bangalore, with a warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. She believes that therapy can become a space for individuals to reconnect with themselves, especially during periods of uncertainty, emotional overwhelm, or when life feels difficult to navigate.

She works with adults and couples experiencing concerns such as anxiety, low mood, overthinking, self-doubt, grief, and relationship challenges. Suparna offers a safe and non-judgemental environment where clients can slow down, feel heard, and make sense of their experiences at a pace that feels comfortable to them.

Her approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual’s unique needs, drawing from different therapeutic modalities to support meaningful change. Therapy with her may involve understanding emotional patterns, managing overwhelming feelings, exploring different parts of the self, revisiting unresolved experiences, and recognising the connection between emotions and the body.

As a couples therapist, she supports partners in improving communication, rebuilding trust, and strengthening emotional connection in ways that feel safe and meaningful for both individuals.

Before becoming a therapist, Suparna spent 15 years as an educator, a journey that continues to shape her work through patience, empathy, and care. She offers therapy in English and Hindi, both online and in person in Bangalore, and believes that every individual has an innate capacity for healing and growth.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist.

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
