About me

Yashika Malhotra is an RCI-registered Rehabilitation Counsellor, Therapist, and Counselling Psychologist with a double Master’s in Psychology and Human Development and Childhood Studies. A multi-gold medallist, she is currently pursuing a PhD in Mental Health and Well-being at the University of Delhi.

Yashika follows an eclectic therapeutic approach with a strong focus on client-centred practice. She is a gender-affirmative and trauma-informed practitioner, offering both online and in-centre sessions in Rohini. Her work focuses on helping individuals navigate emotional and psychological concerns with sensitivity to their unique experiences, identities, and contexts.

Her areas of expertise include assessment and interventions for mental health and well-being, socio-emotional difficulties in adults, lifespan concerns, life transitions and adjustment, and child and adolescent development. She also brings an intersectional perspective to her work, with an understanding of diversity and disability-related concerns.

Alongside her clinical practice, Yashika conducts workshops and trainings for a range of stakeholders, including government employees, teachers, parents, aspiring counsellors, and children. Her work across clinical, educational, and training settings allows her to bring a broad and contextual understanding to mental health and well-being.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
