About me

Mahi Goyal is a Counselling Psychologist with 5000+ hours of therapy experience across both urban and rural settings. She works with adults from diverse backgrounds and abilities. Guided by principles of social justice, she is trauma-informed and queer-affirmative. She follows an eclectic approach with a strong focus on Narrative therapy and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Mahi has a keen interest in understanding how personality, identity, and values are shaped by socio-political, cultural, familial, and relational contexts. Moving away from rigid classifications, she explores these complex interconnections within a safe, collaborative, and non-judgemental therapeutic space, supporting clients as they navigate challenges emerging from their unique life experiences and relationships.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
