About me

Manya is an RCI-registered Clinical Psychologist and Gold Medalist with an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology. She has received training across multiple schools of therapy and has experience working with hospitals, NGOs, and private mental health organizations.

Her therapeutic approach is primarily person-centred, grounded in the belief that every individual has the inherent capacity for growth and meaningful change. She is also trained in Narrative Therapy and recognises the influence of social and cultural contexts on the stories individuals hold about themselves and their experiences.

Manya aims to be a collaborative companion in her clients' therapeutic journeys, creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space to explore, learn, and unlearn. She works with concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, couple and relationship difficulties, personality disorders, eating disorders, self-esteem concerns, existential concerns, and adjustment difficulties.

Her approach is tailored to each individual's experiences and needs, supporting clients in developing greater self-understanding, resilience, and a stronger sense of agency.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
