About me

Samiksha is a psychotherapist with 1,200+ hours of one-on-one therapy experience, working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. She offers both online and in-person therapy in Kolkata.

Her work takes a systemic and intersectional approach, recognising how our identities, relationships, and broader social contexts shape mental health and emotional well-being. She integrates trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centred approaches with evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Samiksha places strong emphasis on building a therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, trust, and collaboration. She supports clients in identifying and expressing emotions, recognising patterns, developing self-compassion, and building greater balance and self-awareness at a pace that feels sustainable and meaningful.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
