About me

Hi, I’m Mannika — a Counselling Psychologist who believes that healing happens through connection, safety, and curiosity. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, burnout, identity questions, relationship challenges, and the pressures of modern life. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with 200+ clients, primarily adults aged 20 to 50.

My approach is client-centered and collaborative — I’m not here to act as the expert on your life, but to walk alongside you as we make sense of what’s showing up together. My practice is shaped by my own experiences as a therapy client, ongoing learning, and a deep respect for how our lives are shaped by culture, systems, and personal history.

I draw from a range of therapeutic tools including CBT, REBT, Gestalt, Humanistic approaches, and relational work , always tailoring our work to what feels most supportive for you. My lens is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, with attention to the systemic factors that influence mental health.

Outside of sessions, you’ll often find me reading, taking long walks, or enjoying a quiet cup of tea. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you — it’s about supporting you in becoming more of yourself, at your own pace, and finding spaces where your story matters.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
